Looking on the Midcurrent website, I came across some well done fly tying videos. Practical Patterns by Tightline Productions has 59 videos that cover every type of fly and technique that you will need to know to start to tying your own flies. Most importance is a lot of the flies are the ones that you can use during the fishing season 
here in east Tennessee.
