Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Little River Chapter
TROUT UNLIMITED

For many of us summers are filled with work and activities and it’s a great time of year to get projects completed. Who better to help than our very own national park. These smoky mountains are a wonderful place to be and to invest our time. Please see the various opportunities we have and consider being a part of these great works.

June and July 2017 Volunteer Work in GSM National Park

The Park Service needs our help for with the lot of important work coming up in  July as listed below. As is the case every year, the Park Service really needs our volunteer help to complete their important work. So please consider helping is you can!

There is also other work coming up on the North Carolina side of the Park, such as the Catalooche Area, and in August and September as indicated in the attached annual Schedule.

Please contact Charlie Chmielewski (865-661-7325, charlieflyfish@gmail.com) to sign up to help with any of the work. More information about what to bring, meeting times, and so forth will be provided before each event.

For the work on North Carolina area of the Park, Charlie will pass on your information to North Carolina TU member Mike Kesselring (828-736-6929, mikessel59@gmail.com), or you can contact Mike directly.
