Hidden River Film Showing

Hidden River We’ve been working with Friends of the Smokies, the Great Smoky Mountain Association and Tremont Institute to provide a FREE showing of the beautiful and educational 1-hour feature film “Hidden Rivers” and worked out a deal to show it at Maryville College on Monday Nov. 4 at 7 pm at the Lawson Auditorium. Doors will open at 6 pm and the film will start at 7 pm. A number of groups will have booths in the foyer so people can mingle and ask questions. The film’s producer Jeremy Monroe of Freshwater Illustrated (https://www.freshwatersillustrated.org/) will be there as well to introduce the film and take questions from the audience. He has produced several short films about fish and other aquatic species of our area, which can be found on his website and Vimeo (https://vimeo.com/wemayfly). You can view the Hidden Rivers trailer at: https://www.freshwatersillustrated.org/hidden-rivers

Also, please check out the Freshwater Illustrated video highlighting Brook Trout restoration restoration in a portion of Anthony Creek in the Smokies: https://vimeo.com/297297998

Please pass this around to your fellow chapter members, friends and family. Should be a great night. Hope to see y’all there!
