This year, Troutfest is proud to provide a unique experience for visitors with a special presentation by Jason Borger, author, experienced angler, stand in and fishing consultant for production of the movie, A River Run
s Through It. This year marks a milestone in the film’s 20th anniversary of its release. The Saturday night event will include dinner, Borger’s presentation and a free showing of the movie. Buy your tickets ahead of time here on the website or at the Troutfest store. Also, tickets will be available at Little River Outfitters in Townsend through Friday, May 18th. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event.

The movie at the time brought a whole new generation to fly fishing and was a boom to the fly fishing industry. The movie is based on a book by the same name written by Norman Maclean.
