The Park Service will be conducting a large stream sampling of the Middle Prong of Little River on Tuesday, August 14.\u00a0 The Park Service can use up to 7 volunteers to help.\u00a0 We have\u00a0two volunteers already, so we need up to\u00a0five more.<\/p>\n

The sampling will take place a short distance below the parking area at the upper end of Tremont Road.\u00a0 We will meet at the parking area between 8:30 – 8:45 AM.\u00a0\u00a0 You will need to bring waders that are at least waist high, lunch, water or any other drinks you may want.<\/p>\n

If you want to help, please let me know.\u00a0 If you need waders, there is a good chance\u00a0we can arrange to have some provided by the Park Service.\u00a0 I will prepare and distribute a list of volunteers that includes phone numbers so you can be contacted if changes due to weather have to be made.<\/p>\n
