Volunteers are the \u201cheart and soul\u201d of the Little River Chapter. It was encouraging to have several first-time TU volunteers participating in the Trout-in-the-Classroom program and the Pistol Creek Clean-Up this month. I\u2019m equally grateful for the members who continue to volunteer year-after-year. In the coming year, the LRCTU Board of Directors will be initiating a Volunteer Recognition Program to reward LRCTU volunteers for their contributions to Chapter sponsored volunteer activities. This is the first of several initiatives that will be led by the Board of Directors as they take a more active role in guiding the Chapter. If you are interested in becoming more involved in the LRCTU, please contact one of our officers or board members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
