Meeting Change Announcement: July is the month for picnics. LRCTU July\u2019s meeting will be held at River Johns on July 27 for our picnic meeting. This will be a joint picnic with the Smoky Mountain Chapter. The dinner will start about 6:30PM but come early and bring your fly rod to fish the water around the island. Be sure to bring a dish to share. For you guys that don\u2019t cook, cake, pies, cookies and pudding are always good. The Chapters will provide burgers and dogs. Also bring a comfortable chair to rest in.<\/p>\n

I just came back from a visit to the in-laws. The brother-in-law has a cabin in the southern tier of New York below the Finger Lakes. Joyce and I always take the fishing gear when we travel. You never know when a fishing opportunity will present itself. A little research found the Cohocton or Conhocton River, depending on who you talk to, it isa brown trout and small mouth bass fishery. I enjoy my in-laws immensely but who can pass up the chance to wade a trout stream. Joyce and I both caught nice brown trout and a few small mouth bass. A very successful visit.<\/p>\n

Hannah Tulley, who is our chapter treasurer, called the other day to say that she will have to resign from the treasurer position. She and Pat are bring a new Tulley into the world so the Chapter will need to find a new treasurer.
