Last year was a good event even with the rain, this year should be even better.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatsmokies.com\/flyfishfest.html\" target=\"_blank\"> (Link)<\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Next on\u00a0October, 15-16, 2016\u00a0 8am &#8211; 6pm is the\u00a0 <strong>Tenkara Jam<\/strong>.\u00a0 For all you Tenkara fisherman or anyone wanting to get started, This\u00a0 event will be held at Yellowhill Activity Center on the Qualla Reservation in Cherokee, North Carolina.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tenkarajam.com\/schedule.html\" target=\"_blank\">(Link)<\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally on November 4-5, 9 am &#8211; 5 pm is the <strong>Smoky Mountains Hook &amp; Hackle Fly Tyers Retreat. <\/strong>It will be held at the Birdtown Complex, 1212 Birdtown Rd. (US 19) between Bryson City and Cherokee.
